We have two new residents this week! Check out our latest photos to see our new budgies from a local rescue. Bluey (Blue and white) and Bingo (yellow and aqua) are very young and shy, but they're already settling in nicely.

- Sherrie CFrom the minute I drove up in their driveway, Amber & her husband Scott were very friendly. I took an abandoned bunny I had found to them. I couldn’t keep the bunny bc I have a Beagle mix inside & 4 feral cats. They immediately started telling me about numerous bunnies that were being found bc of reckless pet owners dumping them after Easter. I am still shocked & disgusted by this reality! I’m so happy the Hawkins are loving, kind people who are willing to rescue & care for orphaned or discarded animals. The World is a better place because of people like Amanda & Scott Hawkins!
- Angie WLooking into getting my granddaughter a bird and contacted hawks nest with some questions. The person I was chatting with is very kind and helpful with an obvious love for birds with a great deal of knowledge it seems. It's breathtaking to find individuals in rescue that truly are in it for the good of the animals.
- Pam MAmber and Scott are so awesome. They picked up my 2 parakeets, so they can find a new home. I've had an ongoing problem with avian vets not accepting new patients, so I'm glad my two birds will receive the care they need. Thank you so much!
